The BFT Phobos AC A25 is a 230 V ram for leaves up to 2.5 metres and 400 kg. It is the entry point into the Phobos range. We stock the BFT Phobos AC A25 in Oman and our own engineers fit and commission it.

The Athos carries more weight on the same supply. Our Kustos matches this one on paper but adds a sealed screw and a higher duty rating. Pick the Igea when the pillar is too wide for a ram.
What is in the kit
The BFT Phobos AC A25 in Oman ships as a two-motor kit. It holds two motors, a RIGEL 6 control panel and a pair of photocells rated 20 metres. Also in the box: a flashing light with antenna, two remotes, a push button and two brackets. The label code P935098 00002 covers one operator, so quote the kit code for spares.
Installing the BFT Phobos AC A25 in Oman
Brackets go on the pillar and the leaf first, and their position sets the opening angle. We run 230 V to the panel and wire both motors. Then we set the work times, the clutch and the slowdown. Photocells go across the opening and we pair the handsets.
Common questions
Is this the same as the Kustos BT A25? Same leaf and same weight, different build. The Kustos runs at 24 V, encloses its drive screw and is rated for heavier daily traffic.
My leaf is 2.4 metres. Do I need an electric lock? BFT recommends one past two metres on this size of ram. Tell us the leaf length and we will include it.
What does the rod stroke decide? How far the arm can push, which sets your maximum opening angle. At 350 millimetres this one reaches 120 degrees.
What if my leaf is longer than 2.5 metres? Move up the range rather than pushing this one. The Kustos BT A40 and the Phobos AC A50 both go further.
