The LIFE RG1R DL is the genuine Italian control board fitted inside LIFE ACER sliding gate motors. It is the part that fails first when a gate stops responding. Changing it does not touch the gearbox. We stock the LIFE RG1R DL Oman board in Muscat and fit it across Oman.
Check your motor voltage first
LIFE makes two boards with almost the same name. Ordering the wrong one is the most common mistake on this part.
| Board | LIFE code | For motors running at |
|---|---|---|
| RG1R DL | 1AH0160000 | 230 V AC |
| RG1R 24 DL | 1AH0200000 | 24 V DC |
This page is the 230 V board. Check your motor label before ordering. If the code contains “24”, you need the other board, which we also supply.

Which ACER motors it fits
The RG1R DL is the board LIFE builds into its 230 V ACER range. In LIFE codes, R means the motor ships with the board inside.
- AC4R DL — 400 kg
- AC6R DL — 600 kg
- AC8R DL — 800 kg
- AC12R DL — 1200 kg
It drives LIFE motors only. LIFE states the unit works with its own products. It will not replace a BFT or Nice board. Other brands are here.
Replacing a failed board
Our engineers isolate the mains, photograph the old wiring, then move the terminals across one at a time. The new board is programmed to your gate travel and force.
Remotes are stored on the board, not the motor. Every handset must be paired again, so bring all of them. We test the photocells before handover.
Common questions about the LIFE RG1R DL Oman board
How do I know the board has failed and not the motor?
Release the gate by key and push it by hand. If it moves freely but the motor stays silent on a command, the fault is usually electrical.
Will I lose my remote controls?
Yes. The receiver sits on the board, so the codes go with it. Keep every handset so we can pair them during the swap.
Does it come with limit switches or an encoder?
This is the board alone. Limit switches and the encoder stay in the motor and are reused.
My gate is a swing gate. Is this the right board?
No. This board drives one sliding motor. Two-leaf swing gates take the LIFE RG UNI RS DL instead. Both sit in our LIFE control boards range.
