Why genuine LIFE
The remote carries a 12V battery, included in the box, and typically reaches 120 to 200 metres to a LIFE receiver depending on the site. It pairs with any LIFE receiver through the receiver’s own programming button, no separate programmer needed. Rolling code encoding sends a new code on every press, so a copied signal cannot be reused later. Flush buttons stop the remote firing by accident in a pocket or bag.

Which remotes does the MAXI2 replace?
If your old remote is a LIFE VIP4, VIP4R, FIDO2 or DREAM, the MAXI2 is a direct replacement. It pairs the same way as those older models.
How many gates can one remote open?
Two. Each button can be set to a different gate, garage door or barrier. One remote can cover a house and a compound gate if both run on LIFE receivers.
Do I need anything else to set it up?
Just the receiver already fitted to your gate motor. Programming happens on the receiver, not the remote. There is nothing extra to buy for a straightforward replacement.
Will this work with a non-LIFE gate motor?
No. The MAXI2 only pairs with LIFE receivers on the 433.92 MHz LIFE rolling code standard. Ask us about a universal remote if you need one remote for mixed brands.
