What’s included

The box holds the motor, a pair of photocells and a flashing light with an antenna. It also includes two four-channel remotes, a push button, four one metre nylon racks and a fixing plate. Our engineers set the base plate, fit the rack, and commission the motor and safety devices on site.

Common questions

What does semi-intensive use actually mean?
It suits a household or office gate opening a normal number of times a day. It is not built for a factory entrance running non-stop. For continuous heavy traffic, look at BFT’s Ares or Icaro ranges instead.

The spec sheet says no slowdown. Does that matter?
Slowdown eases the gate into its final few centimeters rather than stopping it abruptly. This entry-level motor skips it, so the gate runs at one speed until it reaches the limit switch. It still stops safely, just less gently than the higher-tier BFT motors we stock.

No interconnectivity. What does that mean for expanding later?
This control unit works on its own and cannot be networked with BFT’s U-Link protocol. The BFT Ares range supports that if you might add barriers or extra automation on one shared system later.

How does this compare to the BFT Ares range?
The Ares motors add D-Track torque management, higher duty cycles, and interconnectivity. Choose the DEIMOS AC A600 for a straightforward residential gate, and Ares once you need heavier use or future expansion.
