Which motor the Beninca CP CORE fits

The BULL5M, rated to 500 kg, takes this board. The larger BULL motors take different boards, and the three are not interchangeable.

Beninca CP CORE specifications

Dip switches, not a screen

The CP BULL8 and CP BULL RI have an LCD. This board does not. Settings are made with trimmers and DIP switches, and LEDs show the state of each input.

That means fewer menus to get wrong. A photocell blocking the gate shows up on an indicator. The fault is found by looking, not by guessing.

Common questions

Is this the CORE or the CP CORE?
Beninca sell both. The CORE is a separate control unit that can run one sliding or one swing gate. The CP CORE is the internal board made for the BULL5M. Order by what is already on your gate.

Can the old board’s memory chip go into the new one?
Beninca’s manual says the handset codes sit on a removable memory chip that moves to the new board. Bring the old board to the counter in Al Khuwair and we will check whether yours can be moved. If not, we pair the handsets again.

How do I know the board has failed and not the motor?
From the driveway you cannot. The gate does nothing in both cases. An engineer tests the motor and the board separately, which costs far less than replacing the wrong part.

What is the P2 key on the board for?
It works like a step by step push button. An engineer can run the gate with it during installation, without a remote. It only works with DIP switch 2 off.
