Overview
The Beninca CP BULL RI in Oman is the control board that sits inside a BULL sliding gate operator. It is the part, not the motor. If your gate has stopped and the board has failed, this replaces it for a fraction of a new operator.
Which motors the Beninca CP BULL RI fits
Beninca list three: the BULL10M, the BULL15M and the BULL20M. We stock two of them.
| Your motor | Board |
| BULL20M, 2000 kg | This board |
| BULL15M, 1500 kg | This board |
| BULL8M, 800 kg | CP BULL8, a different board |
Order by the motor, not by the look of the board. The two are not interchangeable.

What the display changes
A board with a screen tells you why it stopped. A board with dip switches makes you guess. On a gate that has already failed once, that difference is an hour of somebody’s time.
It also counts manoeuvres and can be set to flag when a service is due, and the programming can be locked behind a password so nobody resets the force settings.
Autosetting, and when it works
The board reads the motor’s encoder and sets the working parameters itself. That saves an installer real time on commissioning.
It only works where the motor has an encoder. The BULL range does, which is why this pairing runs itself and some other Beninca combinations do not.
Common questions
My gate is a BULL8M. Is this the right board?
No. The BULL8M takes the CP BULL8. Ask us and we will match the board to your motor before you pay for it.
Does it arrive in a housing or as a bare board?
Beninca call it an internal control unit, so it is designed to sit inside the operator. Tell us whether you are replacing a board or building a separate panel and we will confirm what you need.
What is Advantouch and do I need one?
It is Beninca’s handheld programmer. It sets parameters and manages remote handsets faster than the buttons do. An installer with several sites wants one. For a single gate you do not need it.
The display is showing a maintenance warning. Is something broken?
Not necessarily. The board counts cycles and flags when a set number is reached. It is a service reminder, and on a busy compound gate it is worth acting on rather than clearing.
