The 1000 kg some websites quote is a 2 metre leaf. At 5 metres our BFT Phobos AC A50 carries 500 kg. At 4 metres the BFT Phobos BT B40 carries 700 kg. Weigh your leaf before you choose.

Opening limit switch only

This motor has limit switches on opening only. The A5000A, a different code, has them on opening and closing.

On closing, the gate must stop against something solid, so fit a mechanical stop. Tell us which version your gate already has before you order.

Houses and apartments, not busy entrances

Came rate it for 15 cycles an hour and design the ATI for residential gates. That suits a villa or a small block. It does not suit a busy yard.

The motor has thermal protection at 150 degrees, and Came say the worm screw is always covered. Both help where sand blows.

What a two leaf CAME ATI A5000 gate needs

A pair of leaves needs two motors and one control panel. Photocells, handsets and a flashing light are extra. Ask us for the whole set and we price it together.

Common questions

My leaf is 4 metres and 600 kg. Will it do?
No. At 4 metres this motor carries 500 kg. Weigh the leaf, then ask us for a motor that suits it.

Does it hold the gate shut?
Yes. The gearbox is irreversible, so nobody can push the leaf open. A keyed flap covers the manual release for power cuts.

Is there a 24 volt version?
Yes. Came make the ATI in 24 volts as well, and those can run through a power cut. This one is the 230 volt motor.

Which control panel does it take?
Came list the ZA3P, 801QA-0110 and 801QA-0120. We match the panel to the motor before you order.
