The BFT MICHELANGELO BT A 80 U is a 24 V industrial road barrier. It clears an 8 m opening in 8 seconds. It carries the MERAK BM board with U-Link, a display and a two-channel receiver in the head. We supply and fit the BFT Michelangelo 80 barrier Oman installations across the Sultanate.
What is not in the box
This is the barrier head only. BFT lists the boom and its fittings as compulsory accessories, bought separately.

One warning worth reading. A 3 m rectangular AQ3 boom fits MOOVI and GIOTTO barriers, not this one.

The number that matters in Oman
BFT rates this barrier to a maximum ambient of 50 degrees. That is the figure to plan around here, not the cold-weather one.
A cabinet in direct sun runs hotter than the air around it. On exposed entrances we site the head where it gets afternoon shade, or fit a canopy. The 24 V motor helps here. It draws less and runs cooler than a 230 V unit on the same duty.
Common questions about the BFT Michelangelo 80 barrier Oman
Why do 8 metres need two boom sections?
BFT’s single round boom covers about 6 m. Past that the boom joins in two parts. Longer booms also want a support leg at the far end.
Can it stand on the other side of the road?
Yes. BFT supplies the barrier set up for left-hand fitting, and it converts on site. Say which side you need and we set it before delivery.
What does U-Link give me?
It is the slot that lets the board talk to other BFT units and to remote management. On a single entrance you may never use it. Across a compound with several barriers it saves visits.
Is 8 metres the widest BFT makes?
