The quickest test is the terminal strip. If there is no powered output for an electric lock, you have the plain THALIA. If there is, and the board arrived in a sealed outdoor box, you have the P.

What it fits

The BFT THALIA control board in Oman has a short fitment list. BFT names the KUSTOS BT A25 and the KUSTOS BT A40, both of which we stock. It also replaces the older LIBRA panels. Tell us what is printed on the board you are taking out.

Fitting the BFT THALIA control board in Oman

We isolate the mains, photograph the wiring, then move it to the new colour coded terminals. The display walks through a scenario and the board learns the travel and the force over the first few cycles. Handsets pair afterwards.

Common questions

Is mine a THALIA or a THALIA P? Look for a powered electric lock output on the terminals. The P has one and the plain board does not. The P also ships inside a weatherproof enclosure.

Can I add a battery backup? Yes. BFT makes a battery kit for the THALIA and the THALIA P. A 24 V gate then keeps working through a power cut.

What does electronic self learning do? The board drives the gate through its travel and records the force it needs. You do not set a clutch by hand.

How many handsets will it hold? Sixty three. That covers a compound, not just a household.
