What it replaces

BFT has retired several 2-button handsets in favour of this one. If your old remote says any of these, this is the current replacement.

We also stock the four-button MITTO COOL C4 for anyone replacing a MITTO4 or MITTO B RCB04.

Cloning and app pairing

This handset carries BFT’s replay function, so a working remote can clone a new one without opening the receiver. Pairing can also be done through BFT’s app rather than holding a button on the board.

One note worth being precise about. BFT’s own marketing sometimes describes the four-button MITTO COOL C4 as controlling up to eight outputs through button combinations. That feature belongs to the C4. This two-button remote does not have it, and we would rather say so than let the two get muddled.

Common questions about the BFT MITTO COOL C2 Oman handset

Will it work on any BFT gate?

Any BFT receiver on 433.92 MHz rolling code, including CLONIX, RIGEL and most current boards. Older BFT receivers on a different frequency will not pair.

My old remote has four buttons. Is this still the right one?

No, take the MITTO COOL C4 instead. Fitting a two-button remote where a four-button one worked loses the extra channels.

Can I add a second handset later?

Yes. BFT receivers hold many codes, and a working remote can pair a new one directly through the replay function. We can also do it at the counter.

Does the colour or battery affect how it works?

No. Function is identical across BFT’s colour range, and the CR2032 is a standard, widely available cell.
