The BFT Virgo Smart BT A20 is a 24 V articulated arm operator. It takes swing leaves up to 2 m and 200 kg. The THALIA control board is built into the housing, and it opens 120 degrees in 14 seconds. We fit the BFT Virgo Smart BT A20 Oman kit across the Sultanate.
One motor drives one leaf. A pair needs a Master and a Slave
This unit is the Master. Its THALIA board controls the motor inside it. It can also drive a second leaf, but only if that second motor is on site.
| Unit | BFT code | Has a board? |
|---|---|---|
| Virgo Smart BT A20 (Master) | P930129 00002 | Yes, THALIA built in |
| Virgo Smart BT A20 Slave | P930130 00002 | No, runs from the Master |
A two-leaf gate is one Master and one Slave, not two Masters. Order two of this listing and the second board goes to waste. Tell us the number of leaves before we quote.

Built for pillars, not just weight
200 kg is not the reason to choose this motor. Pillar depth is.
The articulated arm folds around a wide pillar that a straight ram cannot reach past. BFT rates it to a hinge-to-pillar-edge distance of roughly 235 mm. That is well beyond a ram like our ATHOS AC A25. If your gate is heavier, the wide-pillar answer is our IGEA BT instead.
Common questions about the BFT Virgo Smart BT A20 Oman kit
How often can it run?
BFT rates it semi-intensive, around 60 cycles a day. That suits a villa or apartment entrance, not a busy public gate.
Can someone push my gate open?
No. The gearbox is self-locking once closed. No electric lock is needed.
Does it come with U-Link?
Yes, through the THALIA board. On a single gate you may never use it. Linked to other BFT units on the same site, it lets one system manage several entrances.
My pillar is narrow, not wide. Is this still right?
Probably not. Narrow pillars from about 80 mm suit our E5 BT A18 better. Measure your pillar and we will confirm.
