LIFE SUPRA MB 24V Parking Barrier in Oman
The LIFE SUPRA MB 24V is an Italian-made parking barrier. It ships with a 4 metre boom arm, extendable to 5 metres on the same body. The 24V DC motor and jointed boom suit underground and basement car parks where a straight arm hits low headroom. We stock this barrier in Muscat and install it across Oman for compounds, offices and car parks.

What’s included
The box holds the barrier body, a 4 metre aluminium boom arm and a pair of LIFE safety photocells. It also includes two LIFE rolling-code remotes and a push button. A foundation plate and the 5 metre boom kit are quoted separately. Extra LIFE MAXI2 remotes are available if two is not enough.
Installation
Our engineers set the base plate, fit and balance the boom, and wire the photocells and push button. We then set the open and close limits on the control unit. Because the motor runs at 24V DC, an optional battery pack keeps the barrier working through short power cuts.
Common questions
Does it need a separate 230V supply, or does it run on batteries?
The control unit plugs into your normal 230V mains and steps this down to run the barrier at 24V DC. An optional battery pack keeps it working through short power cuts.
What is the difference between this and the 230V version?
This model runs its motor at 24V DC, which suits sites needing a battery backup. The LIFE SUPRA MB 230V runs its motor directly off mains power for sites that do not need backup.
Will the boom fit an underground car park with a low ceiling?
Yes. The boom is jointed and folds to 90 degrees, clearing low headroom that a straight arm would hit.
Can I get the longer 5 metre boom instead of the 4 metre one supplied?
Yes, the same barrier body takes a 5 metre boom kit. Tell us before delivery and we will fit the longer arm instead.
