Read this before you order. The standard kit for a MOOVI 60 does not ship with a 6 m boom. It does not ship with our AQ3 either.

BFT’s own distributors list this exact barrier as “Moovi 60, boom 5 m.” The clear passage it manages is 6 m, but the standard boom is 5. The AQ3 is a 3 m boom built for the smaller MOOVI 30. It will not reach across a MOOVI 60 installation. Tell us your clear width. We supply the correct AQ5, or a 6 m round boom for the full opening.

Semi-intensive, no slowdown, sensitive edge
Three specs worth reading together. MOOVI is BFT’s lighter road barrier range, and all three follow from that.
Semi-intensive suits an apartment block or a small compound, not a car park with constant traffic. No slowdown means the boom moves at one speed the whole stroke, so it stops sharply rather than easing in. Sensitive edge is a physical strip along the boom. It reverses the boom on contact, simpler than the encoder systems on our heavier barriers.
Common questions about the BFT Moovi 60 barrier Oman kit
Can I fit a 3 m boom instead?
Only if you also fit the shorter MOOVI 30 head. The 60 and the 30 are different barriers, matched to different booms. Swapping the boom alone does not change what the head is rated for.
How busy an entrance can this handle?
A residential block or a compound with moderate traffic. A car park with constant vehicle flow wants an intensive-rated barrier instead, such as our BFT barriers at the industrial end of the range.
Does it come with photocells and a remote?
Yes, as part of the kit, along with the flashing light and push button. Ask us to confirm exact contents before ordering.
Is there a heavier MOOVI for a wider gap?
MOOVI tops out at 6 m. Wider openings move to our Michelangelo range, which handles up to 8 m on a 24 V motor.
