Our engineers fix the motor to a foundation plate. They mount a module 4 rack along the gate, matched to the pinion. Next, they wire the mains and the safety devices to the board. Then they set the gate travel, pair the remotes and test the safety devices.

Common questions

Does it have a built-in radio receiver?
CAME lists radio decoding on the board, with room for 25 users. Some CAME BXL listings show a plug-in radio card instead. Check the code on your unit.

How does it stop on an obstacle?
The encoder tracks the gate’s position, so the board can detect an obstacle. CAME also lists the motor as compliant with impact force rules. Hardwired safety devices add protection.

What does the 7 A figure mean?
It is the maximum current CAME lists for the motor, and the unit itself runs from a 230 V supply. Our engineers size the supply cable for it during installation.

Is 400 kg enough for my gate?
Check the weight of the moving leaf, not the whole fence. A solid steel or wide gate often weighs more than it looks. Send us the size and material and we will advise.
