CAME BX74 Oman installation
Our engineers fix the motor to a foundation plate. They mount the rack along the gate, matched to the pinion. Next, they wire the mains and the safety devices to the board. Then they set the gate travel, pair the remotes and test the safety devices.

Common questions
How does it differ from the CAME BXL 400?
Both suit 400 kg gates. The BX74 has a 230 V motor. The CAME BXL 400 has a 24 V motor with an encoder.
Does the motor protect itself from overheating?
CAME fits a thermal protection to the motor. It limits the motor temperature to 150 °C. Even so, keep within the 30% usage intensity.
Is there a stronger version?
Yes. CAME makes a BX78 in the same family for gates up to 800 kg. See our CAME BX708 for that class.
How fast does the gate move?
CAME lists a top speed of 10 m/min. A 5 m leaf then takes about 30 seconds to open, before any slow-down at the ends.
