Board only, no box
The BFT LEO B CBB in Oman is supplied as a bare board. There is no enclosure with it. Replacing a failed board inside an ICARO is fine, because the housing is already there. Building a standalone panel on a wall is not, and you will need a box as well.
Fitting the BFT LEO B CBB in Oman
We isolate the mains, photograph the wiring and move it across to the new colour coded terminals. The display then walks through a scenario, which sets most of the gate in one pass. Force and slowdown learn on the first cycles, and handsets pair afterwards.
Common questions
What does the display do that dip switches cannot? It asks what kind of gate you have and sets the rest. On a dip switch board you set each function separately and read the manual to know which is which.
Can it run two motors? No, one operator only. A two leaf swing gate needs a different board.
I have a LEO D MA. Is this the replacement? Yes. BFT lists the LEO D MA among the panels this board supersedes.
Does the safety edge wire straight in? Yes. There is a direct 8k2 input, so a resistive edge connects without an interface module.
