The Beninca BOB30M is a genuine two-motor swing gate kit for leaves up to 3 metres — an irreversible electromechanical screw-drive operator built for heavier wrought-iron gates. Unlike some Beninca motors, this version has no built-in control unit or encoder, so it comes bundled with a separate HEADY control board that runs both motors. We stock it in Muscat as a complete kit, ready to fit.

Specifications

No built-in control unit isn’t a missing feature — this class of motor is designed to run off an external board so one control unit can manage both motors together. Beninca’s HEADY unit handles that here, with an LCD display, a 433.92 MHz receiver storing up to 64 remote codes, separate photocell inputs for the opening and closing phases, and independent torque adjustment for each motor. Installation

Our engineers fix both motor brackets to the gate posts and leaves, set the mechanical stops for full open and full closed, wire everything into the HEADY control unit, and adjust torque independently on each motor so both leaves move in balance. We pair the supplied remotes and test a full open-close cycle before handover.

Common Questions

Why doesn’t this motor have a built-in control unit like some others?
It’s designed to run off a separate board so both motors on a double-leaf gate are managed together — that’s what the included HEADY unit does.

Is this suitable for a heavy wrought-iron gate?
Yes — 2300N of thrust and the screw-drive design make it well suited to heavier ornamental gates up to 3m per leaf, more than a typical light-duty swing arm handles.

What’s the difference between this and the BOB30ME version?
The ME version adds a built-in encoder for extra precision and anti-crush safety. This standard BOB30M relies on the mechanical stops and the HEADY board’s own safety inputs instead.

Will my existing Beninca remote work with this?
If it’s a To.Go or other Beninca ARC-compatible remote, yes — the HEADY receiver can be taught additional remotes up to its 64-code capacity.
