Check your motor voltage first
BFT names its accessories the same way it names its motors. AC means 230 volts and BT means 24.

The BFT flashing light in Oman we hold is the AC version, so it suits a 230 volt board. If your motor is one of the 24 volt ones, ask us for the BT flasher instead.
The antenna cable is separate
The terminal strip has a screw clamp for the antenna signal and its braid. The RG59 coax itself does not come in the box. On a gate where the handsets already reach, you may not need it. On a long driveway you will.
Fitting the BFT flashing light in Oman
It goes high and in sight of the approach, because a flasher low down behind a pillar warns nobody. We run the cable back to the board and connect the antenna if you use one. Then we test it on a full cycle before handover.
Common questions
Will it work on my 24 volt motor? No. This is the AC version and it expects 230 volts. Tell us the motor model and we will send the right one.
Is the antenna cable included? No. The terminal is there for it, but you order the RG59 coax separately.
Do I really need a flashing light? On a shared or commercial entrance, yes. It is the only warning a person on foot gets before a gate starts moving. It is also the cheapest part of the safety chain, and the one most often left off.
Why is the antenna in the flasher? Height and a clear line. The flasher already sits high on a pillar or a wall, which is where an antenna works best.
