Common questions
Does this come with the rail included?
No. BFT sells the drive unit and the rail separately for this model. Tell us your door width and we will quote the matching rail alongside the opener.
Why irreversible, and what does the anti-break-in system actually do?
An irreversible motor cannot be forced open from outside by pushing on the door. The rail-carriage lock stays engaged even after someone releases the mechanism from inside, so a break-in attempt through the release cord alone will not work.
How does this compare to the BFT BOTTICELLI BT A1250?
The BOTTICELLI suits larger doors up to 16 square metres and 120 kg traction force. This TIZIANO suits smaller doors up to 10 square metres and 60 kg, a lighter option for a single car garage.
What happens if the power goes out?
Pull the steel cord to release the carriage from inside the garage, then lift the door by hand. Re-engage the carriage on the rail once power returns.
