Specifications

Terminal blocks are removable for easier wiring, and potentiometers set the timing and force without a laptop or app. LED indicators show faults directly on the board. A dual channel receiver is built in. Two safety inputs are provided, one specifically wired for an 8k2 safety edge. Functions include pedestrian opening by remote only, quick closing, and pulse blocking.

Common questions

Does BA mean this only works with barriers?
Yes. BFT builds a separate SHYRA AC SL board for sliding and swing gates, wired slightly differently at the open and close inputs. This BA version is set up specifically for MOOVI barrier operation.

What is an 8k2 safety edge input?
An 8k2 safety edge is a pressure-sensitive strip that stops the barrier boom if it meets resistance while closing. The board checks this input at a fixed 8.2 kilohm resistance, so it can tell a genuine edge trigger from a wiring fault.

What do pedestrian opening, quick closing and pulse blocking actually do?
Pedestrian opening, triggered only by remote, opens the boom partway for foot traffic. Quick closing shortens the automatic close delay. Pulse blocking stops the boom mid-cycle on a single button press rather than reversing it.

Can this replace an older SHYRA board on my existing barrier?
In most cases, yes. Confirm your barrier model and current board wiring with us first, since terminal layouts can differ slightly between SHYRA revisions.
