Our Beninca FTC.S photocell Oman stock is a transmitter and receiver pair, powered at 24 V AC or DC. It mounts externally on a post, and up to four pairs can be synchronised on one installation. We hold it in stock and our engineers fit and wire it on site.

Beninca FTC.S photocell Oman installation

Our engineers fix the transmitter and receiver on posts facing each other across the opening. They run the 24 V supply cable and align the beam. With several pairs, they set the synchronisation jumper described in the Beninca manual.

Next they break the beam to test the gate, then set the photocell input on the control board. The pair suits a sliding gate fitted with a motor such as the BFT DEIMOS BT A400 sliding gate motor.

Common questions

Will it work with my gate board?
A 24 V gate photocell needs a board with a photocell input and a 24 V supply. Send us your board model and we will check the wiring before you buy. We also stock the LIFE RG UNI RS DL control board.

Can I fit more than one pair?
Yes. Up to four FTC.S pairs can run as synchronised photocells on one installation.

Is it for post mounting only?
Beninca lists the FTC.S as a post mounted photocell for external use. For recessed fitting, Beninca makes a different pair, the PIXEL. See all Beninca photocell sensors or the wider photocell sensors range.

What does the gate do when the beam breaks?
The control board decides. We set its photocell input during commissioning.
